Yes i wasn't happy when those nerfes occured but they changed the game for the better. The Elementalists did not get weaker, they were allready weak before this was done. Minionmasters without a cap on their minions were insanely overpowered. They could steamroll everything in a speed that was not funny. While the nerf made the MM somewhat skill-less (Everyone can keep 10 minions alive, even a drunk monkey) it was for the better of the game.
The warrior nerf, it did annoy me as i was mainly playing warrior at that time. But then again it was downright ridiculous that there were so many places where you could stand simply take 0 damage. The change again was for the better of the game.

Right now, go to the Sunjiang District, get a 4 Man farming group started and kill the constructs. With a bit of luck you'll end with one of Kaolins Items which still mostly go for around 100 Plat. One run roughly takes you 20 minutes. And this is just an example, just because you don't know where to go, doesn't mean there is nowhere to go. Most farming places are kept quiet for a reason though. If everyone would reap them, money would indeed lose it's meaning.

Do you really want to be part of a "rank 12+ only" group? Chances are, if people insist on rank they're morons anyways and playing with them will be hell. As well as rank means nothing about skill. So why do YOU care about it? I'm not the greatest HA Player (i'm more the GVG Type) but i'm in a decent guild with decent people and whenever i go to HA it takes me about roughly 20 Minutes to get into a group that is knowing what they're doing.
Point is, you might be advertising yourself in the wrong way. And if you're thinking "decent" as in "high ranked" than it might as well be your fault. You're then trying to go straight to the top. That never works. Not even in Real-Life. And besides, the top requires a lot more dedication to the game than you're willed to bring (judging from your post).

Bad guild chosen? Or trying to jump too far? If you're the friend of someone in one of those guilds, you'll be in without tons of factions.

You didn't try hard enough then. Just my comment. There are STILL places which are unnerfed but i agree that those are not easy and it may take a group of a few people to highly adapt their skills to each other's build. Yet the payout is extreme.
